3 NEW ENERGY EFFICIENT INJECTION MOULDING MACHINES FOR GILT EDGE

We are pleased to announce that we are due take delivery of three new Boy injection moulding machines in December 2014.

Our continual investment and rolling 3 year machine replacement programme ensures we are always manufacturing your product on efficient, modern, equipment with exceptional repeatability coupled with built in programmable tolerance monitoring systems. 

Of course we also realise the importance of our external environment and with this in mind these are the latest energy efficient "E-range" machines.   These machines are equipped with state of the art touch screen control systems setting new standards for precision, repeatability and speed. 

BRC GLOBAL STANDARD FOR PACKAGING AND PACKAGING MATERIALS

Over the past months Gilt Edge Plastics have been working hard to achieve the British Retail Consortium Global Standard For Packaging and Packaging Materials Accreditation (BRC Accreditation).

This Standard was designed to protect the consumer by providing a common basis for the certification of companies supplying packaging to own-brand food producers.

The Standard specifies the safety, quality and operational criteria required within packaging manufacturing organisations to fulfil obligations with regard to legal compliance and protection of the consumer.

We are pleased to report that our operating and production systems have been fully up-dated and our staff have been trained to comply with this Standard. We now feel fully prepared to achieve this accreditation and are looking to achieve our goal within the next couple of months.
